Field service and calibration
Meggitt Fuelling Products provides total field service packages, tailored to a customer's requirements in a wide range of industry sectors including petroleum and chemicals, rail, aviation, marine and defence.
Our service technicians, located throughout the world, specialise in measurement and maintenance services to the petroleum industry. These include meter proving using specialised software programmed to meet a customer's specific need, road tanker meter proving and maintenance, hose and gauge testing, and electronic preset controller and re-loading meters.
Repairs service and maintenance
Meggitt Fuelling Products provides a repair service to customers and can respond to breakdown and emergencies. This service includes in-house (proprietary and third-party) repair, overhaul and modifications. Our fully qualified repair technicians ensure equipment is returned in a fully serviceable condition and turn-around-times are scaled to meet customer requirements.
In some cases reconditioned equipment is held in an exchange pool to enable an immediate turn-around-time on receipt of the returned part before returning the customer's original.
Spares
We provide customers with the quickest possible service and a comprehensive spares management service comprising managed inventory at factory and distributor locations.
Training
We offer classroom theory and practical hands-on training courses for all our products and applications at our factories or at customers' facilities.
Test facilities
Meggitt Fuelling Products' spacious test facilities and related skills are acknowledged as the standard-setters of the field. Our capability includes meter calibration, maintenance and repairs, valve testing, additive injector systems calibration and PLC controls maintenance, tank gauge maintenance, road tanked meter proving, hose and gauge testing for the aviation industry and electronic pre-set controller maintenance of road loading meters.
Contractor logistics support
Our total support solution can offer complete contractor logistic support, with the UK Ministry of Defence, US Defense Logistics Agency and other armed forces among our customers. The package features maintenance and repair, spares provisioning, warehousing, training, deployed support, configuration management, maintenance facilities management, post-design support services, safety and environmental documentation updates provision and test equipment and tools management.
